Electrical Tech ( Carrollton TX 75006) Shift: 1st shift Rate: $20.00 - $24.00 DOE Position Summary: Perform various Electrical and repair operations necessary to keep plant equipment, machinery, and tools in good operating condition. The interior electrician is primarily responsible for the installation and maintenance for all of the Plant interior electrical systems. Responsibilities: " Licensed Journeyman electrician " Planning the installation on all new equipment in accordance with the NEC code book. " Ordering of parts associated with installation of the electrical portion of all new equipment in plant. " Machine trouble shooting of all breakdowns on drawing equipment in plant. " Order electrical parts for plant. " Meet and negotiate pricing with venders. " Research and retrofit new equipment in place of obsolete OEM parts on all machines. " Fabricate and install new electrical controls and panels on obsolete equipment. " Maintain electrical schematics on equipment " Maintain and repair all PLC in plant. " Maintain and repair all AC and DC drives in plant. " Maintain and repair all overhead cranes and hoist in plant. " Execute PM on electrical equipment. " Repair testing equipment in QC lab. " Welding and cutting with torch " Fabricate and weld structures and parts as needed. " Machine some parts on Lathe and Milling machine.
